speed•pipe® pipe-in-pipe
7 / 10 / 12 / 14

The speed•pipe® pipe-in-pipe can be blown into empty PE-HD ducts or PE-HD ducts occupied with cables over long distances. They are optimally applicable for blowing in fibre optic cables over long distances. The speed•pipe® consist of durable PE-HD and the inside is furnished with optimised slide ribs. They are UV-resistant for 3 years South-European climate. They have powerful colours for the clear differentiation and show the cable occupation through transparent inspection windows.

The high-quality material PE-HD of the speed•pipe® allows the laying beginning at minus 10°C. For temperatures sub-zero we recommend to store the speed•pipe® spools in heated halls during 12 and 24 hours before the installation. Ideal tensile forces are reached in the temperature range between 5°C and 20°C.

Using the divisible sealing element EZA-t the speed•pipe® are fixed against elongations due to temperature changings and the space between the PE-HD duct and the single speed•pipe® as well as cables is sealed against gas and water up to 0.5 bar. The speed•pipe® are delivered on a non-returnable wooden spool which is optimised for transport and installation.
